Several years ago, Park Ridge Academic Magnet dedicated its community garden to the memory of former student, Jalyn Amani Forsythe. As one of our school partners, Baton Rouge STEM has committed to ensuring that the garden will also be a wonderful outdoor classroom and sanctuary in honor of Jalyn. We also want this garden to serve as a model for community gardens at each of our partner schools.
