Igniting a Future in STEM: The BRSTEM Fellows Program!

BRSTEM Fellows are a group of high school students passionate about making a real impact through STEM! Relaunched in the Summer of 2025 with a cohort of 5 students from East Baton Rouge Parish high schools, we are focused on preparing students to pursue careers and leadership opportunities in the STEM fields.

The BRSTEM Fellows program offers unparalleled direct mentoring and support from dedicated STEM professionals and current college students majoring in STEM fields. We are positioning high school students to become a powerful force for change through STEM.

Our comprehensive, program features four key components:

    * Summer Sessions are held 8am to 12pm – Monday through Thursday. Fall and Spring Sessions sessions are held from 8am – 12pm on alternating Saturdays.
  2. Volunteer Opportunities: Gain invaluable experience by assisting college mentors during STEM sessions for younger students. Small stipends available for volunteer sessions.
