The STEM Discovery Summer Camp, a partnership between BRSTEM and BREC, provides families in the northern portion of East Baton Rouge Parish and the Felicianas with a fun-filled, learning environment for their children in grades K-8 this summer. Camp participants will receive enrichment in Math and Science while also getting extensive exposure in STEM. We will learn about coding, robotics, engineering, and even learn how math and science are a part of sports like football and basketball.

Week 1: Intro to Coding / June 5-9
Week 2: Intro to Robotics / June 12-16
Week 3: Structural Engineering/ June 19-23
Week 4: The Science of Basketball/ June 26-30
Week 5: Basic Electronics / July 3-7 (closed July 4)
Week 6: The Math of Football / July 10-14
Week 7: Aeronautical Engineering / July 17-21
Week 8: Bio-Medical / July 24-28
Week 9: Grow Your Own Food / July 31-August 4
Campers will take a minimum of 4 field trips to experience STEM in action.
